Hi there! I am Gabriela, an Interaction Design Analyst and Community Manager.

I want to tell you a little bit about myself…

Alajuela, Costa Rica.

As an Interaction Design Analyst at Accenture, I specialize in creating user-centered digital experiences that combine design, research, and strategy. My work focuses on understanding user needs through in-depth research and translating those insights into design solutions that help businesses make informed decisions, improve product quality, and deliver meaningful customer experiences.

With a background in Psychology and Cognitive Science, I bring a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, cognition, and personality. This perspective allows me to approach design challenges with analytical thinking, empathy, and precision. In 2020, I enhanced my expertise by completing a specialization in UX Design, which deepened my skills in usability, user research, and design thinking.

At Accenture, I have contributed to large-scale projects for global clients, supporting digital transformation initiatives through usability testing, data-driven design decisions, and content creation strategies. My role has also allowed me to strengthen my skills in collaboration, marketing, product metrics, and international teamwork, while working in a multicultural environment where communication in English is essential.

I am passionate about exploring the entire product creation process—from research and ideation to prototyping and testing. I believe user research is never “finished”; instead, it is a continuous process that evolves alongside the product and its audience.

Beyond UX, I also have experience in digital marketing and social media strategy. Through my personal project, Psicogamer (a blog focused on video game psychology), I developed skills in content creation, social media management, and community engagement. This project reinforced my interest in how design and psychology intersect with marketing to help companies better understand and reach their target audiences.

My professional interests include: UX Design, UX Research, Interaction Design, Digital Marketing, Game User Research (GUR), Video Game Psychology, Neuroscience, Virtual Reality, Gamification, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Technologies.

Ultimately, my goal is to leverage design and technology to positively impact people’s lives by creating products that are not only functional, but also engaging, accessible, and memorable.
