Client: TEC Consultores (Costa Rica)
Challenge: Chose a proper user interface design pattern for the app and simplified data entry for the user.
Activities: Prototyping, UX/UI Design.
Result: It was possible to have the app in three different mobile app stores: Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.
The app has been downloaded over 1.65K in both Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery. On Google Play, there are 9200 active devices.
In August 2020, I was sub-hired by the company “TEC-Consultores” (Costa Rica), to design an app for the Association of Teachers of Second Education (APSE in Spanish).
The design was carried out according to the requirement given by the APSE administration. Those requirements were based mainly on:
Simple and user-friendly design.
Design that follows good usability practices.
Design very similar to the APSE website.
My core activities included:
Chose a proper user interface design pattern for the app and simplified data entry for the user. Version 2 of the app was designed with Material design (Version 2).
Organized and prioritized all content from the website to the app to achieve maximum usability.
Ensured minimal effort to the user when moving through the user interface creating a good and easy interaction.
Created wireframes and high fidelity interactive prototypes under direction of a senior developer.
